A total of 182 graduates and female graduates at Master’s and Doctoral levels at the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) University of Indonesia (UI) took part in the UI Graduation for the 2023/2024 Odd Semester Professional, Specialist, Master’s and Doctoral Program on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Balairung. FPH UI Postgraduate Program graduates consisted of 166 graduates from the Master’s level and 16 graduates from the Doctoral level. This graduation procession was led by the Chancellor of UI, Prof. Ari Kuncoro, S.E., M.A., Ph.D. and attended by the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. Dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc.
Through his speech, Prof. Ari Kuncoro said that UI graduated students from the Postgraduate Program who strived to be able to answer and implement the challenges of the world research agenda which changed quite significantly after the COVID-19 pandemic hit. The research focus is currently changing to discussing climate change, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, and inclusive health. “With all the research results found, the sustainability of the work of postgraduate students who have even reached world level will be able to maintain the reputation and dignity of the campus we love and will make it easier for UI to enter the global research chain,” said Prof. Ari.
Of all the graduates and graduates at the Master’s and Doctoral levels at FPH UI, 35 Master’s graduates received cum laude honors with the highest GPA achieved by Lisye Konny, M.A.R.S. and Syifa Alkar, M.A.R.S. from the Master of Hospital Administration Study Program with a GPA of 3.94. Meanwhile, from the Doctoral level, 9 graduates received cum laude predicate with the highest GPA achieved by Dr. Nia Murniati from the Public Health Doctoral Study Program with a GPA of 3.93. (ITM)
