Graduates of the Undergraduate Study Program from the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) took part in the UI Graduation Ceremony for the Undergraduate Program in the Health Sciences Cluster and Science and Technology Cluster at Balairung together with graduates from the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Computer Science UI. There are 4,541 undergraduate program graduates in the 2022/2023 period with 2,087 of them cum laude who took part in the UI graduation ceremony on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the UI Hall.
The graduation procession was led by the Chancellor of UI, Prof. Ari Kuncoro, S.E., M.A., Ph.D., also attended by the Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration, FPH UI, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Sc. In his speech, Prof. Ari Kuncoro said that UI has become one of the best universities in Indonesia and the world, seen from the largest number of students sent to the Indonesia International Student Mobility Award, rankings from various world ranking institutions, as well as awards for the academic community. “UI has and will continue to facilitate students’ preparation and self-development so that they can undergo an adaptive transition from the world of higher education to the world of post-higher education, whatever their field,” said Prof. Ari. The hope is that graduates can continue to make their best contribution to the nation and state as UI alumni.
Of all the graduates of the FPH UI Undergraduate Study Program, 184 graduates received cum laude predicate with the highest GPA achieved by Ghina Rana Hanifah, S.K.M., from the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program with a GPA of 3.95. As representatives of faculty graduates, present were Selma Eliana Karamy, S.K.M. and Ardian Adam Nur Fajari, S.K.M., to symbolically receive a graduation certificate. Apart from that, 2 (two) FPH UI graduates also represented graduates of the RIK Undergraduate Study Program and the Science and Technology Cluster to read the Graduate Pledge and Graduate Thank You Notes. The graduates were Ananda Haman Sunarko, S.K.M., and Nurfadilah M. Rajab, S.K.M., from the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program. (BK)
