On Saturday, September 23, 2023, graduates and female graduates of the Postgraduate Program at the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) took part in the 2023 Odd Semester UI Graduation procession at the UI Hall. Led by UI Chancellor, Prof. Ari Kuncoro, S.E., M.A., Ph.D., the event was also attended by the Chair of the Council of Professors (DGB), Chair of the Academic Senate (SA), Chair of the Trustee Council (MWA), University Secretary, Vice Chancellors, Deans, Directors School, and Director of Vocational Education Programs. Also present was the Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration, FPH UI, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M, M.Sc.
In his speech, Prof. Ari conveyed the development of research in Indonesia and the inevitability that the world will continue to change and develop as the times change. Graduation should not stop collaboration between alumni, or the UI academic community itself. “Of the many things, the most important thing is networking, networking. “With this network, the university’s reputation will increase, which ultimately becomes a place for friendship between academics,” said Prof. Ari. He also said that today is important because this is the first step for graduates to continue to contribute, serve and give their best contribution to society. The speech closed with an invitation to become UI ambassadors for various existing areas of contribution.
At the 2023 Odd Semester Postgraduate Program Graduation, FPH UI graduated 16 graduates from the Doctoral Study Program. Apart from that, 2 graduates of the Master’s Study Program received summa cum laude predicate, with the highest GPA of 3.96 achieved by a graduate of the Master of Public Health Study Program, Stefani Christanti, M.K.M. Meanwhile for the doctoral program, there were 8 graduates with cum laude predicate. The highest GPA for graduates of the Doctoral Study Program was achieved by Dr. Rusbani Kurniawan from the Public Health Doctoral Study Program with a GPA of 3.92. As representatives of the graduates, Ari Budianti, M.K.K.K., and Muhammad Amin M.K.M., were present to receive a symbolic graduation certificate from the UI Chancellor. (BK)
