The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at the Universitas Indonesia (UI) has just sent 20 students from the Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) Undergraduate Study Program to take part in the short student mobility program at Inje University, South Korea. The program, which will be implemented for two weeks, will open on January 15 – 16 2024 with the theme “International Global Occupational Health and Safety”.
This short student mobility program is equivalent to two credits that students will earn. In this program, students will learn about vibration, noise, and industrial psychology. Apart from that, students will also carry out a site visit to the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Agency and be introduced to Korean culture by going on a city tour.
The twenty OHS Undergraduate Study Program students who had the opportunity to take part in this activity were Salwa Irzi Alifya, Syukrini Rahmawati Zetri, Zahratunnisa, Chayrani Kamelia Marwanto, Gianina Afiqah Putri, Arya Pandu Mahardhika, Ranti Fitri Agustina, Adisty Safira Salma Damayanti, Maharani Ayundhias, Fachmia Azzahra Aulia Kurnia , Cindy Patricia Yosika, Melvern Adrian Parapat, Muhammad Athif Iszuhri, Ameera Zandra Chairullah, Az Zahra Amalia Putri, Shellena Alya Kanigara, Muhammad Reyhan Ahadin Pratama, Salma Qonita Thifal, Andriza Hanifah Wulandari, and Intan Silmi Alya Mahmud.
Apart from accompanying the students, the leadership of FPH UI consisting of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc., together with the Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs, Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc.; Manager of Cooperation, Alumni Relations and Ventures, Prof. Indri Hapsari Susilowati, S.K.M., M.K.K.K., Ph.D., and Student Affairs Manager, Dien Anshari, S.Sos., M.Si., Ph.D., also discussed several collaborative activities that have been carried out with Inje University and the prospects for the activities others, such as joint research and publication. Present from Inje University at this meeting were Prof. Min Hyon Jeon, President of University, who really supports this collaborative activity. Not only holding discussions, FPH UI leaders also had the opportunity to do a campus tour and see all the facilities at Inje University such as laboratories, research centers and libraries owned by Inje University.
