Since June 2020, Universitas Indonesia (UI) has designated the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) UI as a work unit that participates in the selection of Zona Integritas (ZI) development representing the University. Then on December 20, 2021, FPH UI was awarded the title of Zona Integritas towards a Wilayah Bebas dari Korupsi (Region Free from Corruption (WBK)) from the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) of the Republic of Indonesia.
For this achievement, FPH UI again received a visit to assist the development of Zona Integritas from Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif Jakarta (PoliMedia) on Friday, July 8, 2022. Previously, PoliMedia had conducted a virtual Zona Integritas assistance visit on June 29, 2022. This offline visit aims to see firsthand the implementation of the Zona Integritas principle in the FPH UI environment.
Received in the Professor Room of Building G FPH UI, the visit was attended by the Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration of FPH UI, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Si.; Secretary to the Faculty, Nelasari, M.K.M, Deputy General Manager, Lilis Komariyah, M.A.R.S.; and the Zona Integritas Team of FPH UI. While from PoliMedia there were 8 people who were led directly by the Head of the PoliMedia Zona Integritas Team, Rizky Kartanegara, M.Si., and the PoliMedia Zona Integritas development team.
The discussion, which began with opening remarks from Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Si., was carried out in a relaxed and dynamic manner. The material discussed during this visit included the development of ZI at FPH UI as a whole in the governance of work units. There are six things that are done in the development of this ZI, namely change management, structuring governance, structuring HR management, strengthening performance accountability, strengthening supervision, and strengthening public services.
In addition to indoor discussions, PoliMedia also had the opportunity to visit several places such as the FPH UI Faculty Service Unit (ULF), security staff posts, and the Education Administration Subunit. Through direct visits to several work units that are at the forefront of implementing the ZI principle, FPH UI hopes that PoliMedia can gain new insights regarding the implementation of ZI.
The awarding of the ZI title is intended by Kemenpan-RB to seek concrete steps to accelerate bureaucratic reform to support the achievement of the vision and mission of Indonesia Maju. The Zona Integritas (ZI) is a pilot work unit that is free from various practices of corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN), has fast and excellent service, and shows direct changes that are felt by the public.
