Monday, 16 January 2023, the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) held the opening of the Field Learning Experience (PBL) for Students of the 2020 Public Health Extension Study Program. The PBL which was held virtually was intended as an introductory meeting between participants and institutions, as well as an introduction to the characteristics of the area and population for PBL purposes.
Present at the event Education Manager, Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.K.M.; KPS S1 Public Health, Dr. Robiana Modjo, S.K.M., M.Kes.; Supervisors like Dr. Zakianis S.K.M., M.K.M.; Dr. Puput Oktamianti S.K.M., ; Dr. Budi Hartono, S.Si., M.K.M.; and Dr. Martya Rahmaniati, S.Si, M.Sc.; Alumni and Venture Relations Cooperation Coordinator, Adi Putranto, S.E .; and Academic Administration Coordinator, Amalia Kuswarjanti, S.K.M. Also present were the Head of the Health Service for the City of Depok, along with the Heads of the Health Centers for PBL purposes, namely the Head of the Harjamukti Health Center, the Head of the North Depok Health Center, the Head of the Abadi Jaya Health Center, the Head of the Limo Health Center, the Head of Ratu Jaya Health Center and the Head of the Mampang Health Center.
PBL will be attended by 6 (six) student groups from the 2020 Public Health Extension Study Program. The 6 (six) student groups will go to 6 (six) Community Health Centers in the Depok area, namely Harjamukti Health Center, North Depok Health Center, Abadi Jaya Health Center, Limo Health Center, Ratu Jaya Health Center and Mampang Health Center.
In this PBL, students are expected to be able to practice public health knowledge obtained during lectures and provide interventions to the community according to the characteristics of the region and the community so that they can provide real benefits. (wrk)
