The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) is committed to continuing to develop networks by collaborating with various partners, both academic and non-academic partners. On Wednesday, 25 January 2023, FPH UI signed a cooperation agreement with Universitas Mitra Indonesia (UMITRA), Lampung. Taking place in the FPH UI Professor’s Room, this event was attended by the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc.; Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Sc.; Manager of Research and Community Service, Doni Hikmat Ramdhan, S.K.M., M.K.K.K., Ph.D.; Collaboration Manager, Alumni Relations da Ventura, Indri Hapsari Susilowati, S.K.M., M.K.K.K., Ph.D.; Academic Manager, Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.K.M.; Head of Nutrition Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Ir. Diah Mulyawati Utari, M.Kes., and the Coordinator of the Cooperation, Alumni and Venture Relations Unit, Adi Putranto, S.E. The cooperation agreement between FPH UI and UMITRA is cooperation in the tri dharma field of higher education with the scope of cooperation covering:
- Development in the field of education to improve the quality of graduates of public health education programs, through curriculum development activities, mentoring, teaching, apprenticeship, credit transfer system (CTS), seminars, workshops, education and training/training, utilization of laboratory facilities, libraries, or other activities relevant in the field of public health.
- Development in the field of research and community service to improve the quality of outputs in the form of publications, intellectual property rights, and other outputs.
- Improving the governance of the implementation of public health tertiary education through increasing the human resources of lecturers or education staff, through further education, training/training, apprenticeships, foster universities or other relevant activities in the field of public health.
“FPH UI very much welcomes various collaborations, especially within the scope of the tri dharma of higher education. Many programs in this cooperation agreement are feasible. Programs that can be implemented, such as student/lecturer exchanges, will be easier for both parties to implement and can provide good benefits later,” said the Dean of FPH UI.
The various programs that will be implemented through this collaboration are expected to provide benefits for both parties, in line with the expectations of the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc., through his remarks. (wrk)
