Three study programs at the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI), the Master’s Study Program in Hospital Administration Studies (MARS), the Master’s Study Program in Epidemiology, and the Doctoral Study Program in Public Health Sciences (IKM)) have officially received superior titles from the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes). These predicates are sequentially in accordance with Decree Number 0636/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Mag/VIII/2023 concerning Status, Value and Accreditation Ranking of the Master of Hospital Administration Study Program at the University of Indonesia, Decree Number 0716/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Mag /IX/2023 concerning the Status, Value and Accreditation Ranking of the Master of Epidemiology Study Program at the University of Indonesia, and 0748/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Dok/X/2023 concerning the Status, Value and Accreditation Ranking of the Doctoral Study Program in Public Health at the University of Indonesia. This accreditation status, value and ranking will be valid until 2028.
The accreditation process starts from preparing assessment forms, internal assessments, to field visits. Visitation activities include presentations, field visits to facilities and infrastructure, as well as interviews with graduate users, students, education staff, lecturers, and alumni.
In achieving FPH UI’s vision to become a center for the development of quality science, technology and public education, accreditation is a fundamental pillar that cannot be ignored. “The superior accreditation that FPH UI has achieved reflects the educational institution’s commitment to providing quality education and integrity. “We hope that FPH UI can continue to improve the quality of its education so that it can be beneficial for the development of public health in Indonesia,” said Dian Wulandari, S.K.M., M.M., Coordinator of the FPH UI Academic Quality Assurance Unit.
