On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) received a visit from SMA PGRI 1 Bogor. Received in the FPH UI Professor’s Room, a total of 7 participants consisting of teachers, students and parents visited FPH UI to get further information regarding the selection for new student admissions at FPH UI.
FPH UI Academic Manager, Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.K.M., was the resource person for receiving this visit. “The selection process for new student admissions at UI consists of the independent pathway and the national pathway. “FPH UI itself has a national admission pathway from SNBP and SNBT as well as an independent pathway through SIMAK and PPKB for both regular and non-regular undergraduate programs,” explained Dr. Laila responded to questions regarding entry routes for FPH UI.
Apart from entry routes, visiting participants focused on questions regarding the strictness of entering FPH UI for each study program, education costs, types of scholarships, career opportunities for graduates as well as assessment criteria for the SNBP and PPKB routes. The teacher’s visiting participant, Anisa Suci, also asked about suggestions or tips that could be prepared for her students to prepare themselves for taking part in the UI entrance selection.
“All assessment procedures, especially for the independent pathway at UI, can be accessed via the penerimaan.ui.ac.id page, making it easier for the public to find out. We only advise that you maximize students’ potential and abilities during the preparation period for study, so that students will get the best chance of being accepted into the UI entrance selection,” said Dr. Laila.
