Jakarta, February 25, 2026 — The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at Universitas Indonesia held an official audience with the Jakarta Provincial Health Office on Wednesday (25/2) in Jakarta. The meeting served as a strategic momentum to strengthen collaboration between FPH UI and the Jakarta Health Office in supporting the development of capacity and quality of health human resources in the capital region.
The audience discussed opportunities and schemes for Study Assignment (Tugas Belajar) for personnel within the Jakarta Provincial Health Office, in line with the upcoming admission period for the University of Indonesia Admission Selection (SIMAK) Academic Year 2026/2027.
During the meeting, FPH UI presented comprehensive information regarding its study programs as well as various flagship specializations relevant to the national health transformation agenda and the strengthening of regional health systems, particularly in Jakarta.
The Dean of FPH UI, Prof. Dr. Indri Hapsari Susilowati, S.K.M., M.K.K.K., emphasized that improving the quality of health human resources is a crucial long-term investment for regional health development.
“We observe increasingly complex needs in public health governance and services. Through this Study Assignment scheme, FPH UI is committed to supporting the enhancement of managerial and operational competencies of Jakarta Health Office personnel so they can sustainably respond to the challenges of health transformation,” said Prof. Indri.
She added that synergy between universities and local governments is key to producing public health professionals who are not only academically excellent but also adaptive to policy dynamics and community needs.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Jakarta Provincial Health Office, drg. Ani Ruspitawati, M.M., welcomed the collaboration initiative and emphasized the importance of strengthening the capacity of health personnel.
“Capacity building through advanced education is essential to support healthcare service reform in Jakarta. We appreciate FPH UI’s commitment to opening collaboration opportunities and providing access to quality education for our staff,” said drg. Ani.
According to her, a well-planned Study Assignment scheme aligned with organizational needs will have a significant impact on improving the quality of healthcare services for the people of Jakarta.
This audience is expected to mark the beginning of a stronger strategic partnership between FPH UI and the Jakarta Provincial Health Office, while also encouraging the creation of a sustainable health human resource development ecosystem to improve public health outcomes in the capital. (wrk)
