Depok, January 29, 2026 — The Faculty of Public Health (FPH), Universitas Indonesia (UI), continues to affirm its role as a national reference in the development of education, research, and best practices in public health. This commitment was reflected in its reception of an academic visit from the Faculty of Science, Technology, and Health (FSTIK), Universitas Bina Mandiri Gorontalo (UBMG), which focused on the exchange of best practices and institutional capacity strengthening.
This visit served as a strategic learning platform for students and academic communities from both institutions, particularly in laboratory management oriented toward quality, accountability, and sustainability, as well as in expanding students’ knowledge in the field of nutrition. Through substantive academic dialogue, FPH UI shared its experience in integrating education, research, and community engagement into a cohesive and impactful system.
The Manager of Research and Community Engagement at FPH UI, Rizka Maulida, S.K.M., M.HSc., Ph.D., emphasized that collaboration among higher education institutions reflects FPH UI’s core values in building trust-based networks and fostering shared learning. “We hope this activity becomes a platform for mutual learning and marks the beginning of broader collaboration in education, research, and community engagement to address increasingly complex public health challenges,” she stated.
She further highlighted that inter-university collaboration is key to addressing the growing complexity of public health issues. The synergy established is expected to strengthen education, research, and community service, while also enhancing institutional capacity and the quality of competent and ethical public health human resources.
