FPH UI has been certified ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System since 2017, from DQS Germany. The consequence of obtaining this certification is surveillance which is carried out every year and re-certification which is carried out every 3 (three) years which aims to evaluate the implementation of the Quality Management System. In 2023, FPH UI will undergo re-certification for the second time, to obtain recommendations for certification extension. The scope of re-certification covers all work units under the Faculty Administration Center.
The auditor for this re-certification was Hariadi Alim who conducted an audit for 3 (three) days starting from 6 to 8 December 2023. The focus of the audit on re-certification covers 6 (six) areas, namely evaluation of management system performance during the certification period, review of follow-up to the results of previous surveillance audit reports, review of the effectiveness of the implementation of the management system as a whole regarding internal and external changes, evaluation of the commitment shown to maintain the effectiveness and improvement of the management system, evaluation of the achievement of organizational policies and goals, as well as special customer requirements.
Based on the results of a 3 (three) day audit of management and 14 work subunits under the dean, Hariadi Alim revealed that the implementation of the quality management system at FPH UI was extraordinary, support from faculty leaders to university leaders was very visible from the automation of facilities, with a variety of equipment available. expensive, so it can support faster administration and neat recording.
Every work process has become clearer, computerized, which shows the personal abilities of the implementers both in office administration and software mastery. According to Hariadi, this is a highlight that shows the success of FPH UI.
Knowledge transfer has also gone well, as can be seen from the fact that the POB has been mastered by both the creator and the employees who carry out its main duties. Re-accreditation did not produce any findings, even minor findings. Hariadi only put forward a few Opportunities for Improvement (the lowest scale of findings) with suggestions that almost apply to all work units, namely adding notes to meeting results in accordance with the agenda as stated in the POB of management review meetings, determining low, medium, scale risk levels. and high need to be equipped with previous identification history data, such as risk opportunities that have been mapped in ISO SMAP, risk opportunities for service quality must also be provided as OFI for all work units, additions to risk opportunities for Logistics POBs, additions to academic calendar POBs in the Administration Unit Education, as well as several other suggestions for several work units based on the results of monitoring quality targets.
Responding to the results of the re-certification audit, at the closing meeting the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo expressed his appreciation and hopes for FPH UI. “Alhamdulillah, all parties at FPH UI are very grateful and relieved for the completion of the important targets that have been achieved at the end of 2023, namely ISO SMAP surveillance, and now ISO SMM. ISO SMM at FPH has been running well as proven by the audit results. Let’s remain enthusiastic about maintaining the results that have been achieved. Today must be better than yesterday, and tomorrow must also be better than today. FPH UI’s competitors are always increasing and growing (approximately 200 Health Education institutions currently). “In line with the health transformation for 2045, FPH UI continues to move to face the challenges of the demographic bonus and also supports the vision and mission of the University of Indonesia to advance to the global stage,” said Prof. Mondastri.
Based on these results, FPH UI again received a recommendation for re-certification which is valid for the period 2023 to 2026. (sf)
