On September 25, 2023, the Master of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Study Program at the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) received a visit from the Vocational School of Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta. Received in the FPH UI Professor’s Room, the visit of 7 participants from the Department of Health Services and Information at the UGM Vocational School was aimed at conducting benchmarking of the FPH UI OSH Masters Study.
“In order to prepare for the OSH Applied Masters lectures, we from the UGM Vocational School Health Services and Information Department felt it was necessary to visit OSH FPH UI directly to carry out a direct copy study from the seniors,” said the Head of the OSH Department, Dr. Nur Rokhman, S.Si., M.Kom., conveyed the aims and objectives of the visit to FPH UI.
From FPH UI, the Quality Assurance Manager, Prof. Dr. Besral, S.K.M., M.Kes.; Head of the OSH Masters Study Program, Dr. Dadan Erwandi, S.Psi., M.Sc.; OSH Professor, Prof. Dr. Dr. L. Meily Kurniawidjaja, M.Sc., Sp.OK.; OSH Department lecturers, Dr. Robiana Modjo, S.K.M., M.Kes.; Dr. Hendra, S.K.M., M.K.K.K.; Dr. Chandra, M.App.Sc., and Abdul Kadir, M.Sc., happily accepted the purpose of the visit from the UGM Vocational School. “OSH FPH UI has been established since 2000, so we have been building and developing this study program for 23 years. “Hopefully we can provide useful insight in preparation for holding this UGM OSH Applied Masters lecture,” said Dr. Dadan Erwandi started the presentation about the profile of the FPH UI Master’s and OSH Study Program.
In his presentation, Dr. Dadan conveyed the general profile of the teachers, curriculum structure, collaboration partners and information regarding the Distance Learning (PJJ) program owned by the Masters and OSH Study Program. Apart from presenting the study program profile, the lecturers also held discussions and asked questions with the visiting participants regarding things they wanted to know more about. Through this visit, FPH UI hopes to provide insight and information needed for the development of the Master of Applied OSH, UGM Vocational School. (wrk)
