FPH UI Participates in the 2024 Commencement Meeting of Internal Archives Supervision at the Universitas Indonesia

The Universitas Indonesia (UI) has consistently carried out higher education archives in accordance with applicable statutory rules and regulations. Regarding improving the quality of archives management within UI, the UI Archives Office is holding Internal Archives Supervision activities at the University of Indonesia in 2024. Archives supervision is a form of UI’s commitment to ensuring the continuity of archives implementation to support the realization of UI’s strategic plans.

UI 2024 Internal Archives Supervision is carried out based on the provisions of Law Number 43 of 2009 concerning Archives, Government Regulation Number 28 of 2012 concerning Implementation of Law Number 43 of 2009 concerning Archives, and ANRI Regulation Number 6 of 2019 concerning Archives Supervision. This Internal Archives Supervision aims to ensure conformity between implementation and archives management rules to guarantee the availability of authentic, reliable, and intact archives.

The 2024 Internal Archives Supervision Activities were carried out on 426 objects of supervision consisting of work units within PAU, faculties, schools, and vocational education programs as well as 18 archives units within UI.

The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) is inseparable from the internal supervision agenda under the coordination of the University of Indonesia Archives Office. FPH is one of the objects of supervision that will take part in Internal Archives Supervision activities. All archive management staff in departments, study programs, study groups, units, and journals within FPH UI participated in the 2024 University of Indonesia Internal Archives Supervision Kickoff Meeting which was held online on March 18, 2024.

This meeting was the beginning of a series of 2024 Internal Archives Supervision activities. At this meeting, the monitoring procedures for archival supervision were explained, with the object of supervision being filling in monitoring work papers as a monitoring tool used by auditors and auditees to assess follow-up and/or continuous improvement. have been done. This activity of filling out and uploading working papers was carried out in the period 18 March – 2 April 2024. Similar to the supervision scheme in 2023, in 2024 supervision will be carried out by means of independent assessments and assessments by supervisors from each faculty/work unit cross-sectionally.
