The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) is one of the faculties that focuses on improving people’s living standards and health by organizing in the community. During its 58 years of existence, FPH UI has always strived to contribute to public health through various means.
At the peak event of its 58th Anniversary on Saturday, 28 October 2023, the FPH UI Alumni Association (ILUNI), as the backbone of the organizers of this peak celebration, focused on many activities that contribute to health and invited its alumni who had become professionals in the field of public health to be able to share their knowledge through talk show activities.
Several health events held at the peak of the 58th Anniversary included, fun walk and poundfit which aimed to encourage physical activity for participants; health screening and dental examinations to detect disease risk; blood donation, which aims to help provide a safe and sufficient blood supply for medical needs, as well as sharing insights through the ER Challenge talk show or Disaster Emergency Response Preparedness which is a series of activities carried out to anticipate disasters through organizing and taking appropriate and effective steps .
“Hopefully FPH UI will continue to excel in education, research and community service in the health sector and continue to be a partner of the government in making the transformation of the health system a success in order to welcome a Golden Indonesia 2045,” said the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, giving his appreciation to FPH UI through his virtual speech, for the contribution of FPH UI in partnering with the government in improving the health status of the Indonesian people.
“As we get older, we hope that FPH will provide more meaning and benefits to society.
