Public resources (lifelong learning)

The Faculty of Public Health of Universitas Indonesia is holding a series of online seminars which can be accessed by the general public via the page available on the site https://fkm.ui.ac.id. It contains seminar recordings and seminar materials that can be downloaded. Apart from that, FKM UI provides a free hotspot area for visitors who are not part of the academics so they can still access the internet while they are in the FPH (Faculty of Public Health) UI environment.

Public events (lifelong learning)

The Faculty of Public Health often conducts an online seminar, which is a program that is run with the aim of educating the public regarding the latest issues in Public Health. One of the seminars had the theme: Social Protection and Stigma for Workers with Disabilities. The faculty also often collaborated with the Student Council of FPH UI to hold public discussions to increase awareness of students and the general public regarding strategic issues brought up by the Strategic Studies and Action Department, for example about electronic cigarettes. Through the public discussions, the audience can participate in voicing opinions, arguments, and views on the issues raised.

Education outreach activities beyond campus

BAKPAO FKM UI 2022 (Social Service During Campus Orientation) is an activity in the form of community service that introduces basic movements to freshmen of FPH UI to increase awareness of the surrounding environment by carrying out health promotions to the target audience. Held at SDN Mekarjaya 12 and SDN Mekarjaya 13, in total there are 153 students and 19 parents who attended from Public School SDN Mekarjaya 12, while there are 184 students and 29 parents who attended from SDN Mekarjaya 13.

Lifelong learning access policy

The Universitas Indonesia has a policy called Penyelenggaraan Program Sarjana di Universitas Indonesia (Implementation of the Undergraduate Program at the Universitas Indonesia) approved by the University’s Rector in 2016 through Peraturan Rektor Universitas Indonesia Nomor 014 tahun 2016 tentang Penyelenggaraan Program Sarjana di Universitas Indonesia (Regulation of the Rector of the Universitas Indonesia Number 014 of 2016 concerning the Implementation of the Undergraduate Program at the Universitas Indonesia).

Through the regulation, the Rector of Universitas Indonesia regulates the implementation of undergraduate programs in the form of Regular Class, Parallel Class, Extension Class, and International Class. The Parallel and Extension Class exist with the aim of expanding access to higher education at the Universitas Indonesia and to support lifelong education. Currently, the Faculty of Public Health opens student admissions for the Regular Class (proof attached in supporting evidence). Moreover, students that previously possessed a Diploma degree are accommodated by the university to continue their study through the Extension Class in order to support lifelong education.
