The Faculty of Public Health of Universitas Indonesia participates in cross-sectional dialogue about SGDs, namely for SDG number 3 concerning Good Health and Wellbeing, SDG number 4 concerning Quality Education and SDG number 13 concerning Climate Action
To support SDG3 regarding Good Health and Wellbeing, the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia together with the Asian Universities Alliance (AUA) and the University of Tokyo as co-organizers, held a mixed international conference through Zoom Meetings. The conference entitled “2023 AUA Academic Conference on Public Health Resilience in the COVID-19 Pandemic – Faculty of Public Health UI Science Festival”. In addition, Professor Indri Hapsari Susilowati became the keynote speaker at the 2023 Mahsa International Conference on Health Science & Technology (MI-CHEST) at Mahsa University. This conference covers various health science topics and is attended by researchers from international universities.
To support SDG4 regarding Quality Education, Professor Endang L Achadi became a part of an international symposium at the 2023 Early Childhood Education and Development.
Moreover, the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia collaborated with Pita Putih Indonesia and the Budi Kemuliaan Association to hold a Roundtable Discussion (RTD) discussing the impact of climate change on maternal and child health to support SDG13 on Climate Action. RTD aims to find out the governments’ policies regarding the impact of climate change on health and reproductive health, maternal and child health; as well as gathering input for developing climate change mitigation and adaptation agendas in the fields of health and reproductive health.

The Faculty of Public Health is committed to meaningful education to improve people’s welfare by moving towards the SDGs.
In 2023, the educational curriculum at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia provided courses that are related to 17 SDGs spread across 11 study programs, both as compulsory and elective courses.
