The Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia held a series of online seminars which can be accessed by the public through the faculty’s websites www.fkm.ui.ac.id. Upon accessing the website, the public can see recaps from the seminars as well as download the discussed materials.
Moreover, the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia also provides free internet hotspots for visitors so they can stay connected to the internet while visiting areas of the faculty.
The Faculty of Public Health has a program for disseminating information called SEMOL (Seminar Online). SEMOL presents various public health topics that are currently being discussed by the public. The objective of SEMOL is to educate the academic community and the public in general.

Furthermore, to increase students’ soft skills, the Faculty of Public Health collaborates with the Department of Student Development of the faculty’s Student Executive Board to regularly hold a skill development program. In 2023, one of the themes presented was “Preparation for Internships and Work”, which increases students’ knowledge and develops their abilities related to skills needed to support post-campus life such as public speaking, critical thinking, and problem solving.
Rumah Belajar dan Kakak Asuh (RUJAK) is one of the work programs from the Department of Community Social of the faculty’s Student Executive Board. The objective of this program is to help overcome environmental education and health problems in the areas of Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. The theme for RUJAK 2023 is “Increasing Children’s and Youth’s Enthusiasm for Learning and Community Awareness in Solving Education and Environmental Health Problems”. Activities carried out throughout the program include sharing knowledge as well fostering motivation and enthusiasm for learning through role play activities. Apart from that, there are also activities in the form of Production Houses which aim to increase public awareness in dealing with environmental health problems and develop the independence and creativity of local residents in order to create a prosperous living environment in terms of education and environmental health.
Students from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia have a voluntary student-run scheme which supports education outreach activities beyond campus to local schools and communities. One of the programs in 2023 was called Bakti Sosial Pas OKK (BAKPAO), which is one of the work programs from the Department of Social Community of the faculty’s Student Executive Board. It was held in the form of a community service which seeks to instill value of concern for surrounding environmental problems to new undergraduate students of the faculty.
The Universitas Indonesia has a policy called Penyelenggaraan Program Sarjana (Implementation of the Undergraduate Program) approved by the University’s Rector in 2022 through Peraturan Rektor Universitas Indonesia Nomor 24 tahun 2022 tentang Penyelenggaraan Program Sarjana (Regulation of the Rector of the Universitas Indonesia Number 24 of 2022 concerning the Implementation of the Undergraduate Program).
Through this regulation, the Rector of the University of Indonesia regulates the implementation of undergraduate programs in the form of undergraduate classes and undergraduate Kelas Khusus Internasional/KKI (International Special Classes). Currently, the Faculty of Public Health opens admissions for Regular Classes and also Rekognisi Pemebalajaran Lampau/RPL Classes (Recognition of past learning) (evidence attached in supporting evidence). In addition, students who have previously held a Diploma are accommodated by the university to continue their studies through the Extension Class in order to support lifelong education.”
