Public resources accessible to the general public include open content such as recorded videos from online seminars, public lectures, and educational materials on healthy lifestyles, balanced nutrition, and occupational safety culture (K3), among other related topics. To support academic and public access to knowledge, Universitas Indonesia provides campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity and subscribes to a comprehensive digital library that offers access to various e-books, e-journals, and other digital learning resources.
1. Student Affairs: In an effort to enhance students’ soft skills, the Faculty, in collaboration with the Student Development Department of BEM FKM, regularly organizes the Skill Development Program (SDP). In 2024, the program featured the following themes:
1. “From CV to Corporation: Strategies for Successfully Entering the Professional World”, held on May 17, 2024, with speaker Maria Qibtiyah, ACC, CEO of Bitama.co.id and a Career and Business Coach.
2. “Facing Change: Strategies for Adaptation in Individuals and Organizations”, held on November 15, 2024, with speaker Citra Ayu Eka, S.K.M., CPPC, a professional trainer and facilitator.
2. Public Relations: FKM UI organized a seminar series aimed at educating the public on various public health topics, which are widely accessible through the official FKM UI website and YouTube channel. In 2024, a total of 32 seminars were successfully held.
Student Affairs: Rumah Belajar dan Kakak Asuh (RUJAK) FKM UI is one of the flagship programs of the Community and Social Affairs Department of BEM IM FKM UI, which carries out community-based development initiatives aimed at addressing issues related to education and environmental health in RW 01, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. The 2024 RUJAK theme was: “Enhancing Awareness and Participation in the Importance of Education and Environmental Health among the Residents of RW 01 Pasar Minggu.”
The RUJAK activities not only provide knowledge but also help foster motivation and enthusiasm for learning among mentees through interactive teaching and learning sessions, such as role-play activities and fun quizzes with prizes. Additionally, the program includes a Production House activity, which aims to raise community awareness on environmental health issues while promoting independence and creativity among local residents to build a healthy and sustainable living environment.
Student Affairs: Bakti Sosial Pas OKK (BAKPAO) FKM UI 2024 is a community service program organized by the Community and Social Affairs Department of BEM IM FKM UI. This program aims to instill a sense of social responsibility and awareness among new FKM UI students (Class of 2024) toward environmental and community issues by facilitating their participation in community-based initiatives that contribute to addressing public health and environmental challenges.
The Universitas Indonesia has a policy called Penyelenggaraan Program Sarjana (Implementation of the Undergraduate Program) approved by the University’s Rector in 2024 through Peraturan Rektor Universitas Indonesia Nomor 1 tahun 2024 tentang Penyelenggaraan Program Sarjana (Regulation of the Rector of the Universitas Indonesia Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Implementation of the Undergraduate Program).
Through this regulation, the Rector of the University of Indonesia regulates the implementation of undergraduate programs in the form of undergraduate classes and undergraduate Kelas Khusus Internasional/KKI (International Special Classes). Currently, the Faculty of Public Health opens admissions for Regular Classes and also Rekognisi Pemebalajaran Lampau/RPL Classes (Recognition of past learning) (evidence attached in supporting evidence). In addition, students who have previously held a Diploma are accommodated by the university to continue their studies through the Extension Class in order to support lifelong education.
