The Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) received a visit from the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FKKMK) Gadjah Mada University (UGM) on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. The aim was to find out about the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), which is implemented at FPH UI, this visit was received in the FPH UI Professor’s Room.
“Learning with MBKM actually provides opportunities for students to develop creativity, capacity and independence in learning. Because what they have done while they were students is more interesting to graduate users than just graduating on time with good grades. The track record during lectures is even more interesting. “MBKM here provides an opportunity for students to beautify their track record,” said Wahyu Kurnia Yusrin Putra, S.K.M., M.K.M., Secretary of the FPH UI Undergraduate Nutrition Study Program, talking about the benefits of MBKM for students. Apart from the benefits, he also talked about the regulations, flow and MBKM activities that FPH UI students take part in, especially from the Nutrition Study Program.
The Independent Learning Program – Independent Campus (MBKM) is a program launched by the Minister of Education and Culture which aims to encourage students to master various sciences to prepare them for entering the world of work. One of the goals of MBKM itself is to facilitate students in developing their potential according to their passion and talent through experiential learning programs with flexible pathways.
Apart from MBKM, discussions held between FPH UI and FKKMK UGM also discussed partner cooperation, student competition interests and handling mental health problems among students.

Ratu Ayu Dewi Sartika, Apt., M.Sc.; Lecturer at the Department of Nutrition who is also Chair of the Center for Nutrition and Family Health Studies (PKGK), Ir.
