Refreshing the Implementation of the 3 Pillars, FPH UI Holds Motivation Building for Educational Staff

As an educational institution, the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at the Universitas Indonesia (UI) is supported by faculty members, administrative staff, and other supporting personnel in the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Each party at the faculty plays a unique and valuable role that complements one another in realizing the faculty’s vision and mission. Due to their roles, these parties are valuable assets that must be maintained and nurtured to stay motivated and deliver their best performance. One of the faculty’s programs to maintain and nurture human resources is through Motivation Building. Motivation Building has become an annual routine that provides administrative staff with the opportunity to take a break from their daily routines and bond through activities such as nature reflection and fun team-building games.

The Motivation Building event for administrative staff is held in two waves to ensure that services to clients are not interrupted. The first wave took place from August 17 to 20, 2024, and the second wave from August 24 to 27, 2024, with the destination city being Malang, East Java. A total of 105 administrative staff participated, accompanied by the structural leadership of FPH UI.

“The three pillars must be united in one goal that binds us as the large family of FPH UI to sail together: shared direction, intention, and persistence. Vision and mission require togetherness, the same direction, shared intention, and determination. Motivation Building is a commitment to togetherness, weaving relationships with love to achieve our common goals. As our religion advises through a Hadith, the quickest reward for kindness is building relationships,” said the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, in his speech during the first wave of Motivation Building.

In line with the Dean’s message, the Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs of FPH UI, Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc., stated that Motivation Building aims to strengthen the bond and togetherness of the administrative staff at FPH UI, enabling them to coordinate effectively in managing their tasks. -sf-
