The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at the Universitas Indonesia (UI) once again received an award at the UI Integrity Zone Award 2024 for being a Work Unit within the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristekdikti) that meets the criteria for the National Integrity Zone Assessment in the Clean Bureaucracy and Serving (WBBM) category, announced on August 29, 2024, at the UI Senate Hall. The award was received by the Secretary of FPH UI, Nelasari, S.K.M., M.K.M.
As is well known, FPH UI is currently continuing its preparations to obtain the Clean Bureaucracy and Serving (ZI-WBBM) Integrity Zone designation. FPH UI consistently works on improving public services to achieve inclusive services that can reach all stakeholders.
Each year, FPH UI’s efforts receive recognition at the UI Integrity Zone Award event. This recognition proves that FPH UI is continuously committed to building bureaucratic reform within its faculty.
“This ZI competition is held to launch the initiative for bureaucratic reform within UI, aiming for substantive reform in six key areas. We are very pleased because competitions like this have yielded good results, where FPH UI has successfully achieved the Integrity Zone designation of Corruption-Free Area from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB). This year, FPH UI was joined by the Faculty of Medicine (FK) and the Faculty of Economics and Business (FIA), who also passed the assessment for the Integrity Zone Corruption-Free Area (ZI-WBK) submission. FPH UI passed the assessment for the Integrity Zone Clean and Serving (ZI-WBBM) as well. UI is the only university to send the most representatives for the national assessment,” said Vishnu Juwono, S.E., M.I.A., Ph.D., Head of the TREM Bureau at UI, in his speech.
Further, the Secretary of the University of Indonesia, dr. Agustin Kusumyati, M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the work units within UI in establishing the Integrity Zone. “As mentioned by Mr. Vishnu, the initiatives taken by UI to support the bureaucratic reform movement aim to create a more effective, efficient, agile, and needs-driven bureaucracy, one of which is by implementing the Integrity Zone initiative. In its implementation and development, many initiatives have been carried out to improve services for customers. Many new applications have emerged at the faculty level to ease customers in accessing information and services from the faculty, schools, and vocational education,” said dr. Agustin Kusumyati, M.Sc., Ph.D.
The UI Integrity Zone Award event, which was also attended by the Vice Minister of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Nezar Patria, S.Fil., M.Sc., MBA., is an annual award given by the University of Indonesia to faculties, schools, and vocational education programs as work units that have successfully implemented bureaucratic reform in their work environment.
