Depok, January 28, 2025 — The Faculty of Public Health (FPH), Universitas Indonesia, welcomed an educational visit from SMA Albanna Denpasar, Bali, on Tuesday (1/28). The activity took place in the Doctoral Program Promotion Room at FPH UI and was attended by 120 students along with their accompanying teachers.
The visit was officially received by the Manager of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Alumni, and Internationalization of FPH UI, Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.K.M. During the session, students were provided with a comprehensive overview of higher education in public health as well as study opportunities at FPH UI.
In her remarks, Dr. Laila Fitria emphasized that educational visits like this reflect FPH UI’s commitment to providing broad access to information for the younger generation.
“FPH UI strives to be an inclusive and inspiring learning space for prospective students from across Indonesia. Through this activity, we aim to help students explore their interests and potential early on, particularly in the field of public health,” she stated.
Furthermore, Dr. Laila explained the profile of FPH UI, its undergraduate programs, and a curriculum designed to be adaptive to public health challenges at both national and global levels. Students also received information about admission pathways, tuition fees, learning facilities, and various scholarship opportunities available.
“Graduates of FPH UI have wide-ranging career prospects, from government and private sectors to non-governmental organizations and international institutions. We hope the information shared today will serve as a valuable reference for students in planning their higher education and future careers,” she added.
The session was conducted interactively through a question-and-answer segment, where students showed great enthusiasm in asking about campus life, learning processes, and career prospects in public health.
Through this visit, FPH UI reaffirmed its role as a higher education institution that upholds noble values and excels in performance, while remaining committed to guiding the younger generation in preparing for a future that contributes to public health in Indonesia. (wrk)
