Depok, February 15, 2026 – The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at Universitas Indonesia participated in the Indonesia International Education and Training Expo (IIETE) 2026, held from February 12–15, 2026, at the Jakarta Convention Center together with the Directorate of Public Relations, Media, Government, and International Affairs of UI, as well as Public Relations teams from all UI faculties. The event served as a strategic opportunity for FPH UI to introduce its public health education programs to a broader audience.
FPH UI’s participation in the international-scale education exhibition was part of the institution’s commitment to supporting the dissemination of higher education information, particularly in the field of public health.
Throughout the exhibition, the UI booth attracted significant enthusiasm from visitors. Most visitors were prospective undergraduate students and their parents. Among the most frequently asked questions from visitors interested in FPH UI were inquiries regarding the Undergraduate Nutrition Program and the Undergraduate Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Program. Prospective students sought information about the curriculum, program strengths, internship opportunities, and graduate competencies. In addition, career prospects for FPH UI graduates became a highly popular topic. Many parents asked about the sectors in which FPH graduates could work, ranging from government institutions, hospitals, industries, and multinational companies to international organizations and non-governmental organizations.
Scholarship opportunities also became a major point of interest. Visitors sought information regarding tuition assistance schemes available at UI, both from the government and private partners. Furthermore, questions regarding the academic requirements for admission to FPH UI were quite dominant, including the expected score ranges for achievement-based and test-based admission pathways.
The FPH UI team provided comprehensive explanations regarding the various UI admission pathways, competitive academic standards, and the importance of both academic and non-academic preparedness for prospective students. Visitors were also informed about the supportive learning environment, laboratory facilities, student activities, and the extensive alumni network of FPH UI.
Through its participation in IIETE 2026, FPH UI hopes to further expand public access to educational information while attracting the best prospective students who are committed to contributing to national and global health development. This participation also reaffirmed FPH UI’s role as a higher education institution that is adaptive, open, and responsive to the needs of society. (wrk)
