Motivation Building is one of the annual agendas held by the Faculty of Public Health (FPH), Universitas Indonesia. In the world of work, motivation is needed by employees in relation to career development, achievement, and work ethic. This activity is aimed at building awareness of the importance of motivation in personal and work life, being able to understand the importance of communication, being able to set and develop individual goals in both personal and institutional life, being able to apply motivation to excel in work relationships that support personal and institutional progress and improve cohesiveness, familiarity, and togetherness among staff. In 2022, the Motivation Building for FPH UI Education Staff will be held in 2 (two) batches, namely on 30 October – 1 November 2022 and 6 – 8 November 2022 in Yogyakarta. The number of participants reached 128 people from various work units and departments within FPH UI.
With the theme “Together for FPH UI Jaya”, this year’s Motivation Building activity feels even more special because it has just been held again after being stopped for 2 years due to the pandemic. According to the Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs at FPH UI, Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc., who joined the second batch of activities, apart from strengthening the cohesiveness and togetherness that was interrupted due to the pandemic, this activity is also a forum for jointly aligning the vision and mission that will be achieved together in the future. Apart from the Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs, this Motivation Building activity was also attended by several other leaders such as the Deputy Dean for Resources,
Ventures and General Administration, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Sc.; Academic Manager, Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.K.M.; General Manager, Dr. Martya Rahmaniati Makful, S.Sc., M.Sc.; Quality Assurance Manager, Dr. Besral, S.K.M., M.Sc.; Manager of Student Affairs, Dien Anshari, S.Sos., M.Sc., Ph.D.; and Deputy General Manager, Lilis Komariyah, S.Sos., MARS.
This Motivation Building activity consisted of several agendas including a gala dinner, outbound activities, visits to several MSMEs in the area around Borobudur, nature, and culinary tours. After the Motivation Building activity was held, it was hoped that all staff at FPH UI would have high work motivation and be able to work effectively, efficiently and in unison to achieve common goals.
