The Bachelor of Public Health degree program is a study program at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia, which is the oldest faculty of public health in Indonesia.

This study program is designed to create graduates with competence and ability to identify and solve public health problems, implement public health interventions, and carry out lifelong learning.

The study program educates students to become graduates with abilities to conduct analysis and assessment, understand basic public health sciences, plan programs and developing policies, communicate effectively, plan and manage funding sources (financial planning and management/resource), identify socio-cultural determinants (cultural competency/local wisdom), empower communities (community dimensions of practice), also lead and think systems (leadership and systems thinking/total system).

The study program has seven areas of interests/majors:

2. Biostatistics
3. Epidemiology
4. Reproductive Health
5. Health Insurance Management
6. Health Information Management
7. Health Promotion

To be an excellent study program in creating Bachelors of Public Health who can play an active role in addressing public health issues at the global level, particularly in Southeast Asia, through education process, research, and community engagement.

1. To develop and implement effective and efficient public health education programs.
2. To support students to play an active role in conducting research and community engagement on public health.
3. To apply research results and community engagement activities for curriculum development.
4. To create competent and capable graduates in identifying and solving health problems, implementing public health interventions, and taking lifelong learning.

1. To create highly qualified graduates in the field of public health needed by the community, industry, in accordance with professional and scientific needs.
2. To create graduates who are capable of:
   1. Planning and managing funding sources;
   2. Planning and developing policies;
   3. Conducting studies and analysis in the health sector;
   4. Carrying out community empowerment;
   5. Performing effective communications;
   6. Leading and thinking systems;
   7. Understanding basic public health sciences;
   8. Identifying socio-cultural determinants.
3. To produce research and community engagement which contribute to the advancement of public health science.
4. To strive for curriculum relevance and improving the quality of public health learning processes.
5. To create graduates who can face global changes with expertise in public health based on creativity, innovation, and concern for public health.

Bachelors of Public Health from the UI Faculty of Public Health have soft skills to view/identify public health problems systematically, measurably and based on data (evidence based). In addition to having strong cognitive and psychomotor skills, the bachelors also have a high sense of empathy for certain situations so that the spirit to provide public health interventions is honed. This can be seen from the profile of the Bachelor of Public Health degree program graduates who can take analytical reviews, communicate effectively, think systematically, and manage interventions to solve public health problems. Furthermore, the graduate profile is implemented in various courses provided to students, which becomes a differentiator from the degree program at other universities in Indonesia, including health promotion, learning organizations and systems thinking, data management and analysis.
