As a preventive measure and to detect health issues among employees, the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at the Universitas Indonesia (UI) organized a Medical Check-Up (MCU) in collaboration with Prodia Clinic. Held at FPH UI on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the MCU was attended by 114 lecturers and 106 administrative staff.

During the MCU, the lecturers and administrative staff of FPH UI underwent a series of health examinations, including a complete blood test, complete urine test, SGPT, glucose test, cholesterol test, triglyceride test, creatinine test, eGFR, chest X-ray, EKG, physical examination, and body composition analysis.

As a faculty that provides education in public health, FPH UI not only focuses on the quality of student education and health promotion in the community but also on the health of its academic community and their families. In addition to this MCU event, FPH UI regularly conducts non-communicable disease screening every two months through the Posbindu PTM or Integrated Non-Communicable Disease Coaching Post, Griya Sehat Kita (Griseta).

“Routine health checks are essential to monitor and maintain the health of the FPH UI community in an optimal way. It is hoped that maintaining good health will improve quality of life and productivity,” said Dr. Milla Herdayanti, S.K.M., M.Si., Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration at FPH UI.
