FPH UI Again Holds Online Postgraduate Program Socialization

On Saturday, March 8, 2025, the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at Universitas Indonesia (UI) held an online socialization event for its Postgraduate Program. This event aimed to introduce the six postgraduate study programs at FPH UI to prospective students.

Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc., Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs at FPH UI, delivered the opening remarks. “We are delighted to once again host the socialization of FPH UI’s Postgraduate Program as part of our commitment to producing experts in the field of public health. Through this event, we hope prospective students will gain comprehensive information about the study programs we offer and the various academic and professional opportunities available. We encourage all participants to engage in discussions and make the most of this opportunity,” said Dr. Asih.

The event, conducted via the Zoom platform, was attended by the heads of the study programs who served as the main speakers. The six study program heads were Dr. Budi Hartono, S.Si., M.K.M., Head of the Master’s Program in Public Health Sciences; Dr. dr. Helda, M.Kes., Head of the Master’s Program in Epidemiology; Dr. drg. Masyitoh Basabih, M.A.R.S., Head of the Master’s Program in Hospital Administration Studies; Dr. Dadan Erwandi, S.Psi., M.Si., Head of the Master’s Program in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS); Dr. Pujiyanto, S.K.M., M.Kes., Secretary of the Doctoral Program in Public Health Sciences; and Dr. dr. Tri Yunis Miko Wahyono, M.Sc., Secretary of the Doctoral Program in Epidemiology.

Moderated by Dr. Muchtar, M.A.R.S., M.K.K., FISQua from ILUNI FPH UI, the speakers presented information on their respective study programs, including the curriculum, career opportunities, alumni testimonials, and the admission process for prospective students interested in continuing their studies at FPH UI.

Participants had the opportunity to directly engage with the speakers regarding the advantages and career prospects of each study program. Additionally, technical information regarding the admission process, scholarships, and academic support at FPH UI was also addressed during the Q&A session.

Through this socialization event, it is expected that more prospective students will be interested in joining and contributing to the development of public health sciences in Indonesia.
