Depok, October 20, 2025 – The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI), through the Institute for Community Health Services and Engagement (LPPKM), organized a Workshop on the Development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Special Work Units (UKK) under LPPKM. The event, held at Felfest UI, was attended by staff members from various research centers within LPPKM FPH UI, assisted by subunit coordinators from the faculty’s administrative centers. This workshop aimed to strengthen institutional governance by developing standardized, transparent, and accountable procedures in accordance with Universitas Indonesia regulations.
In her opening remarks, Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration of FPH UI, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Si., emphasized the importance of SOP development for the sustainability of institutional governance. “This activity is crucial for ensuring that LPPKM has established SOPs for its various services and programs. An organization as large as LPPKM must have clear and standardized procedures. These SOPs form the foundation for transparent and accountable operations,” she stated. She further added that, in accordance with the Rector’s Regulation, every unit under LPPKM is required to have at least one SOP related to financial management.
Meanwhile, Head of LPPKM FPH UI, Prof. Dr. drg. Wahyu Sulistiadi, M.A.R.S., highlighted that the success of SOP implementation depends heavily on those working directly in the field. “You are invited here because you will be the ones applying these SOPs. Therefore, your feedback is essential to ensure that the procedures meet operational needs. SOPs don’t need to be complicated—the key is that they are practical, applicable, and helpful in our daily work, especially when dealing with external partners,” he explained.
Secretary of LPPKM FPH UI, Reynold V. Dahlan, S.I.P., M.Kesos., added that the workshop provided an opportunity for participants to review and refine the draft SOPs that had been previously prepared. “We have already drafted the SOPs, and through this meeting, we hope to gather the necessary input to align them with the standards applied at UI,” he noted.
During the discussion session, Faculty Secretary Nelasari, S.K.M., M.K.M., and Deputy General Manager of FPH UI, Lilis Komariyah, MARS., shared insights suggesting that the SOP format to be implemented at LPPKM should align with the format used at the faculty level. The format refers to the guidelines established by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenpanRB), consistent with FPH UI’s achievement of the Integrity Zone Free from Corruption (ZI WBK) designation. This alignment is expected to maintain consistency and quality across governance systems within the faculty.
Following the presentations, the event continued with an interactive discussion session to further refine the draft SOPs, ensuring they fit real-world conditions and operational needs. Through this workshop, LPPKM FPH UI reaffirms its commitment to strengthening institutional governance based on a sustainable quality management system, supporting FPH UI’s role in advancing professional, impactful community engagement and development.
