Dr. Zakianis further elaborated that the Field Practice Program (Praktik Kerja Lapangan or PKL) is designed not only as a learning experience but also as a platform for students to develop professional skills. He invited partner institutions to actively engage in both mentoring and evaluating student performance in the field.
“In addition to supervision, we also hope that our partners can provide evaluations of student performance as valuable feedback for both the students and the academic programs,” he added.
The workshop was attended by FPH UI’s partners from various institutions, including the Health Departments of Depok, Bogor, DKI Jakarta, Tangerang Regency, and Tangerang City; the Occupational Safety Center of the East Java Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office; the Environmental Office of DKI Jakarta; BTKLPP Class I Jakarta; UI Research Laboratory; Soekarno Hatta Port Health Office; PDAM Tirta Asasta Depok; Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta; St. Regis Hotel Jakarta; XL Axiata; Petrokimia Gresik; Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia; PT SUCOFINDO; UI Hospital; Bengkalis Regional Hospital; and Duren Sawit Psychiatric Hospital.
