FPH UI Holds Graduation Ceremony for FPH UI Undergraduate Program Odd Semester 2024/2025

The graduation ceremony for undergraduate students of the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at Universitas Indonesia (UI) for the Odd Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year was successfully held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Auditorium of Building G, FPH UI. This momentous event celebrated the graduation of 80 prospective graduates from the undergraduate programs.

In her speech, the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. Dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc., personally congratulated the prospective graduates. She emphasized that as the oldest and leading faculty of public health in Indonesia since its establishment in 1965, FPH UI remains committed to continuous improvement to ensure its graduates excel and create a meaningful impact.

“The prospective graduates are expected to carry the great responsibility of being public health ambassadors, both at the national and international levels,” said Prof. Mondastri. “Public health professionals play a crucial role in promotive, preventive, and primordial prevention efforts to achieve a healthier society,” she added.

The Vice Chairman of ILUNI (Alumni Association) FPH UI, Dr. Haryadi Wibowo, S.H., M.A.R.S., also delivered a speech, expressing his hope that the graduates would apply the knowledge they have gained—not just in theory or on paper, but in ways that bring real benefits to society.

During the event, FPH UI announced 11 undergraduate students who graduated with cum laude honors, as well as the best graduates from each study program.

For the Extension/RPL class, the best graduate title was awarded to Maulaya Istafa Tiwikrama Ambarwati (GPA 3.87), followed by Agita Arintiani (GPA 3.85) and Rangga Errena Rukmana (GPA 3.79). In the Regular Class of the Undergraduate Public Health Program, Stella Tracylia earned the best graduate title with a GPA of 3.94, followed by Yosephine Emilia Regina Panjaitan (GPA 3.93), as well as Latin Vania Nisrina and Devina Nafis Alodia, who both achieved a GPA of 3.87.

In the Undergraduate Nutrition Program, Yasmin Syifa Bakhtiar was named the best graduate with a GPA of 3.82, followed by Sharon Ferrani (GPA 3.78) and Davin Edbert Yang (GPA 3.73) as the second and third-best graduates. In the Undergraduate Environmental Health Program, Qonita Anis Zain was honored as the best graduate with a GPA of 3.86, followed by Elita Rizkiani Putri (GPA 3.75) and Isna Nur Aeni (GPA 3.71) as the second and third-best graduates. Meanwhile, Ahmad Ariq Atthaya was recognized as the best graduate of the Undergraduate Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Program with a GPA of 3.76, followed by Gina Relimba (GPA 3.74) and Alya Hanifah (GPA 3.73) as the second and third-best graduates.

Aside from the announcement of cum laude graduates and best graduates, a representative of the undergraduate prospective graduates, Nadhir Wardhana (Public Health 2020), delivered a farewell speech. Nadhir expressed gratitude for the support of all lecturers who guided students throughout their academic journey at FPH UI.

Additionally, the prospective undergraduate graduates gave a special performance—a musical presentation by a group called Yang Mau-Mau Aja Band. Their performance added a festive and celebratory atmosphere to the graduation ceremony.

The prospective graduates are expected to become agents of change, bringing positive impacts across various sectors, honoring the name of their alma mater, and contributing to the advancement of the nation. (DFD)
