Depok, 22 November 2025 — As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen human resource capacity and ensure that academic services remain highly adaptive to technological advancements, the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) organized a Training on the Utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Administrative Staff. This initiative reflects FPH UI’s commitment to providing excellent, efficient, and digitally relevant educational services within the university environment.
The training took place on Saturday (22/11) in Computer Laboratories A2 and A3, Building A, FPH UI, and was attended by 112 administrative staff members from various work units, including academic administration, department secretariats, security personnel, and other supporting units. The activity was divided into two sessions: Batch 1 from 08.30–12.30 WIB and Batch 2 from 12.30–16.30 WIB.
The session featured T. Ahmad Danial, S.Si., M.Kom., as the main speaker, with facilitators Novianthi Dian Purnamawati, M.Psi.T., and Herry Santosa, S.Kom. Through theoretical explanations and hands-on practice, participants were introduced to various AI applications and tools that can support their daily tasks.
The training materials covered fundamental concepts and benefits of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including how the technology can be leveraged to enhance administrative work and academic services within FPH UI. Participants also received guidance on AI ethics, emphasizing the importance of data security, privacy protection, and maintaining integrity in all technology-based processes.
Beyond conceptual understanding, the training included practical sessions that allowed participants to learn how to craft effective prompts and use different AI platforms to support various tasks—from data processing to workflow automation. The program concluded with strategic directions on how to implement AI gradually within each unit, enabling administrative staff to optimize technology sustainably and improve service quality at FPH UI. This introduction to AI is expected to help staff work more efficiently, accurately, and with higher quality.
In their respective session remarks, FPH UI Faculty Secretary Nelasari, M.K.M., and Assistant Manager for General Affairs, Lilis Komariyah, M.A.R.S., emphasized the growing importance of digital competence for all members of the academic community. They highlighted that technological transformation is inevitable and that administrative staff play a crucial role in ensuring that educational services remain effective and responsive. Through this training, it is hoped that all administrative staff at FPH UI will be able to utilize AI to complete their tasks more efficiently.
By holding this training, FPH UI reinforces its commitment to fostering an adaptive, innovative, and competitive work environment, aligned with Universitas Indonesia’s vision to be an Excellent and Impactful institution.
