Depok, September 8, 2025 – The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) has officially opened the selection process for the position of Dean of FPH UI for the 2025–2029 term. This process marks an important milestone for FPH UI in seeking outstanding national figures who are ready to lead the faculty toward greater achievements in education, research, and community engagement.
The selection is open to qualified Indonesian citizens who meet the requirements stipulated in the Rector’s Regulation of Universitas Indonesia No. 25 of 2025 on the Procedures for the Election of Faculty Deans within Universitas Indonesia. Registration and document submission are conducted online from September 1–19, 2025, through the official website pemilihandekan.ui.ac.id.
The dean selection process consists of several stages, starting with registration and document submission (September 1–19, 2025), administrative verification by the Dean Selection Committee (September 20–October 5, 2025), and the announcement of verification results (October 6–9, 2025). The next stages include the submission of eligible candidates by the Dean Selection Committee (October 10–13, 2025) and a public feedback period (October 13–November 13, 2025).
Following these, the evaluation process will be conducted by the UI leadership through presentations, interviews, and deliberations from November 14–28, 2025. The selection process will conclude with the inauguration of the new dean on December 8, 2025.
Dean candidates must meet several key criteria, including:

Indonesian citizenship, permanent residence in Indonesia, and under 60 years of age at the time of appointment.

Holding a Doctoral degree (or equivalent), being physically and mentally fit, and demonstrating high integrity.

Not involved in any criminal case, never sentenced to imprisonment for more than five years, and free from political affiliations.

Possessing a proven track record in academics, leadership, and dedication to faculty and university development.
In addition, candidates are required to submit administrative documents, including proof of identity, curriculum vitae, academic competency records, a health certificate, and a strategic plan for faculty development.
