Depok, August 7, 2025 — The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) welcomed a visit from the Directorate of Operations, Facility Maintenance, and Asset Management (DOPFMA) UI as part of a socialization program on the management and maintenance of facilities within the faculty.
DOPFMA UI operates under the coordination of the UI Vice Rector for Infrastructure and Facilities, with the mandate to manage, maintain, and optimize non-utilized facilities across the entire UI campus. Through this socialization, DOPFMA UI aims to enhance understanding, broaden participation, and foster cross-unit collaboration in facility management at the faculty level.
The session was led by the DOPFMA UI team under the direction of Dr.-Ing. Sucipta Laksono, S.T., M.T., Head of the Subdirectorate of Asset and Logistics Management. From FPH UI, attendees included Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Si., Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration, and Dr. Martya Rahmaniati Makful, S.Si., M.Si., General Manager. The event began with a presentation, followed by an interactive discussion between DOPFMA and faculty representatives.
A key focus highlighted during the session was the utilization of information technology in facility management, including online systems such as SIJAFAS (Campus Facility Loan System), SIPAF (Facility Repair Complaint System), SIMAF (Asset Management Service), and PARKIR (Campus Parking Service). DOPFMA UI also emphasized the importance of asset management aligned with the standards of State Universities with Legal Entity (PTN-BH) status and the directives of the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN).
“Asset management must follow an integrated cycle, starting from planning, procurement, and utilization to supervision. There are ten components that must be observed by central leadership and PAU to prevent audit findings. With proper management, asset governance at UI can be both efficient and accountable,” explained Dr.-Ing. Sucipta Laksono.
Echoing this statement, Dr. Milla Herdayati also underlined the commitment of FPH UI: “Through today’s DOPFMA socialization, we reaffirm FPH UI’s commitment to managing facilities and infrastructure in an integrated manner—from planning, procurement, and utilization to supervision—while adhering to asset management components to ensure accountability and avoid audit issues. Moving forward, we will ensure compliance with PTN-BH standards and DJKN directives, while maximizing the use of campus systems such as SIJAFAS, SIPAF, SIMAF, and PARKIR to achieve more efficient, transparent, and sustainable services.”
This initiative is expected to strengthen the capacity of all work units within FPH UI to better understand the procedures and maximize the use of existing systems, fostering more effective, transparent, and sustainable facility and infrastructure management. (ITM)
