FPH UI Welcomes a Visit from FPH UNHAS for a Benchmarking Study on the Development of an Integrity Zone Toward a Corruption-Free Area and Faculty Service Unit Management

Depok, August 25, 2025 — The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) welcomed a visit from the Faculty of Public Health Universitas Hasanuddin (FPH Unhas) for a benchmarking study on the development of an Integrity Zone (ZI) and the management of the Faculty Service Unit (ULF).

Dr. Anna Khuzaimah, M.Kes., and Rosdiana, S.E., M.Kes., from the ZI Development Team of FPH Unhas were received directly by the Vice Dean of FPH UI, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Si.; Faculty Secretary, Nelasari, M.K.M.; along with the FPH UI management team at the RIK Building, FPH UI, Depok Campus.

In her remarks, Dr. Milla expressed her appreciation for the visit and emphasized the importance of collaboration among all internal stakeholders in strengthening clean, transparent, and service-oriented governance.

“We began the ZI initiative in 2020, appointed by UI, and at that time the ZI development had not yet been included in the performance contract. Preparations were quite challenging since we were in the middle of the pandemic. However, it was in such extraordinary circumstances that innovations emerged to ensure services to stakeholders could continue. The Faculty Service Unit is one of our innovations, built to provide customer services that are monitored and documented in accordance with the applicable SOPs,” Dr. Milla explained.

The visit focused on a sharing session discussing the management of six leverage areas, the challenges encountered and mitigation efforts, innovations generated in each area, and best practices supporting excellent stakeholder services.

On behalf of FPH Unhas, Dr. Anna shared that her team gained valuable insights from the systems implemented at FPH UI.

“The Dean of FPH Unhas assigned us to learn from FPH UI to support our preparations. Over the past three months, we have been seriously working on strengthening the preparation of the Integrity Zone, particularly in socialization and internalization activities. We hope this benchmarking visit will enrich our references. At Unhas, three faculties are advancing to participate in the Corruption-Free Area (WBK) selection, namely the Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Forestry, and Faculty of Medicine,” said Dr. Anna.

In addition to the interactive discussion, the visit continued with a direct observation of the Faculty Service Unit. Through this visit, it is expected that synergy and sustainable collaboration between FPH UI and FPH Unhas can be fostered in building excellent, transparent, and integrity-based faculty governance.
