Sharing Study Program Information, FPH UI Receives Visit from Santa Laurensia High School Students

“The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at Universitas Indonesia (UI) is a higher education institution focused on developing public health sciences through various excellent academic programs. FPH UI offers four undergraduate programs: Bachelor of Public Health, Bachelor of Nutrition, Bachelor of Environmental Health, and Bachelor of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH),” stated the Education Manager of FPH UI, Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.K.M., during a visit from Santa Laurensia High School on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

The event, held in the Doctoral Promotion Room, aimed to provide a deeper introduction to undergraduate programs at FPH UI and offer insights into the field of public health to the students.

During this visit, the students were welcomed by the Education Manager, Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.K.M.; Head of the Bachelor of Nutrition Program, Dr. Fathimah S. Sigit, M.Res., Ph.D.; Head of the Bachelor of Environmental Health Program, Dr. Ema Hermawati, S.K.M., M.Si.; and Head of the Bachelor of OSH Program, Abdul Kadir, M.Sc. The speakers provided presentations about the various undergraduate programs, career prospects in public health, the curriculum, tuition fees, student admission selection, facilities, and various opportunities available for FPH UI students.

In addition to the presentations, the event also included a Q&A session between students and faculty members. The students had the opportunity to ask questions about learning experiences at FPH UI, challenges in the field of public health, and the contributions of graduates in improving public health in Indonesia.

This visit is expected to inspire Santa Laurensia High School students to better understand the role of public health in everyday life and confidently choose FPH UI for their higher education. Through welcoming high school student visits, FPH UI is committed to spreading information and education about public health to prospective students. (wrk)”
