In the second quarter of 2025, students from the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia once again demonstrated academic excellence by winning 15 awards at various national and international competitions.
The academic achievements highlighted this quarter came from students across four undergraduate programs, showcasing their consistent dedication to academic excellence at the national level.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Program: A team of undergraduate students from the Class of 2023 — Hulwah Shalihah, Difa Nasywa Budi Ghafara, and Zhafirah Nauli Irhami Siregar — secured 1st place in a national paper competition at the Indonesian Conference on Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment 2027, held between April and May 2025.

Environmental Health Program: Naufal Akram, a Class of 2023 student in Environmental Health, achieved two awards: 1st place in the Scientific Essay Competition at the National Health Competition hosted by Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangkaraya (May 9–June 20, 2025), and 2nd place in the Enchanted Essay Competition held during the 24th Anniversary of Poltekkes Kemenkes East Kalimantan.

Nutrition Program: A team consisting of 2023 Nutrition undergraduates, Annisa Layyina Ihsani and Tiara Nur ‘Aini Safitri, won 3rd place in the Essay Competition at the National Nutrition Contest hosted by the Nutrition Student Association of UNNES in May 2025.

Public Health Program: Humala Septian, a Class of 2022 Public Health student, ranked among the Top 5 in the Progressio National Business Case Competition, held in May 2025.
In the non-academic field, Class of 2023 students Caesario Natanael Putra Rasdhian and Salmahita Ataya Pradilla won 3rd Runner-Up in the National Creative Video Competition organized by FMIPA UNY on June 1–6, 2025, in the short video category.
Beyond national achievements, FPH UI students from both undergraduate and graduate levels also brought home honors from prestigious international competitions.

Ulfi Hida Zainita, a 2022 graduate student in Public Health Sciences, won 1st place for Best Paper at the 8th International Conference on Nutrition, Food, Environmental, and Agricultural Sciences (ICNFEAS-25) held on May 17–18, 2025, in Turkey.

Amira Puji Hastuti, a 2023 undergraduate Nutrition student, earned 1st place in the ASEAN Geospatial Challenge 2025 (April 2025) and also took 1st place in The Planetary Health Challenge, with a community-based innovation project focusing on Dayak communities along the Kapuas River.

Wafi Syukri Baraja, a graduate student in Occupational Health and Safety, received the Most Favorite Safety Innovation Award at INOSAFE – INCOSHET 2025, an international forum for safety innovators held in May 2025.

Bryan Akhtur Alexander, a 2024 undergraduate student in Public Health, was selected as an awardee of the prestigious international program: BeVisioner: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship Cohort 3, held in April 2025.
These achievements are the result of students’ hard work, dedication, and the strong support of a conducive academic environment.
