Distance Education (PJJ) is a teaching and learning process that is carried out remotely using various communication media. PJJ at UI itself is organized through the EMAS learning management system (e-learning management systems) and provides open learning resources that can be accessed on the Open Courseware website and UI Online Videos (OVIS UI). In addition, UI also uses Office 365 UI applications as supporting technology, which can be accessed using a UI single sign on (SSO) account.
Ease of PJJ which has the following characteristics: flexible in terms of delivery, place and method of learning, emphasis on independent learning by students according to their individual pace and conditions, learning can be done anywhere and anytime, and the application of appropriate information and communication technology to facilitate This learning interaction attracted the Central Kalimantan Provincial Health Office to find out more about its implementation, especially at FPH UI. On June 21, 2023, FPH UI also provided socialization on the implementation of PJJ for the Postgraduate Program implemented at FPH UI to staff at the Central Kalimantan Provincial Health Office.
Apart from outreach, FPH UI together with the Central Kalimantan Provincial Health Office also discussed the possibility of cooperation that could be carried out between the two parties. Present from FPH UI at this activity were the Dean, Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc. and Head of the Public Health Master’s Study Program, Dr. Budi Hartono, S.Si., M.K.M.
