On April 27 – 28 2024, Universitas Indonesia will again hold the UI Open Days event. UI Open Days is a routine agenda of the UI Public Relations Office and KIP together with the UI Public Relations Forum since 2013 which contains outreach and exhibitions for faculties, vocational education programs and schools. UI Open Days aims to introduce study programs and entry routes at the Universitas Indonesia to prospective new students and parents of prospective new students at the Universitas Indonesia.
Located at the UI Hall, apart from opening a faculty booth, the UI Faculty of Public Health (FPH) also provided exposure to prospective new students who attended the UI Open Days. In the faculty presentation session, the presentation of the study program at FPH UI was delivered by the Education Manager, Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.K.M., who explained the ten study programs at FPH UI, especially the four undergraduate study programs, and provided an understanding regarding public health, as well as job prospects for each study program at FPH UI. “Studying at FPH UI, you not only learn about public health science, but also learn about how to communicate with the community to provide health interventions,” said Dr. Laila in her presentation.
Meanwhile, at the faculty booth, visitors, both prospective students and parents of prospective students, can interact directly with the stand guides consisting of FPH Public Relations Staff, FPH Academic Staff and students from BEM FPH UI. Various questions regarding lecture activities, information on study programs, courses, job prospects, and education costs are information that is often asked.
It is hoped that the implementation of the UI Open Days activity will provide understanding for prospective new students and parents regarding study programs and entry routes at UI. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can also inspire all participants to get to know UI better, so that prospective students can choose study programs according to their interests and talents.
