FPH UI Achieves Two Strategic Milestones at the 76th Anniversary of Universitas Indonesia

Depok, February 2, 2026 — The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) has further strengthened its position as a pioneer of public health education at the national level through outstanding achievements at the 76th Anniversary (Dies Natalis) of Universitas Indonesia. Winning two prestigious awards at the event serves as clear evidence of FPH UI’s dedication to managing academic resources with excellence while generating impactful scientific contributions for society.

The first achievement was awarded to FPH UI as 2nd Best Faculty in the category of Highest Professor Ratio at Universitas Indonesia. This recognition reflects FPH UI’s strength in building a robust academic ecosystem, supported by distinguished professors who actively contribute to education, research, and community engagement. A high proportion of professors serves as a key indicator of FPH UI’s commitment to maintaining academic quality and leadership at both national and international levels.

In addition to institutional achievements, a remarkable individual accomplishment was also recognized. Professor at FPH UI, Prof. Dr. drg. Indang Trihandini, M.Kes., received the Outstanding Lecturer Award in the Senior Lecturer Category for the Highest Scientific Citation Impact (Field-Weighted Citation Impact/FWCI) in the Health Cluster for 2026. This award acknowledges Prof. Indang’s consistent contributions in producing high-quality scientific publications with significant impact on the advancement of knowledge, particularly in public health.

Achieving the highest FWCI reflects both the quality and relevance of the research produced, further emphasizing FPH UI’s role in promoting research that is not only quantitatively productive but also globally impactful.
