The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at Universitas Indonesia (UI) welcomed a visit from students of SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Raman, Lampung, as part of an educational tour aimed at introducing high school students to the world of higher education, particularly the field of public health. The visit took place on Wednesday, May 8, 2025, at the Doctoral Promotion Room of FPH UI, Depok Campus.
The group, consisting of 90 students and 5 accompanying teachers, was warmly received by Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.K.M., Academic Manager of FPH UI. During the visit, the students received a comprehensive presentation on the profile of FPH UI, its academic programs, and essential information regarding the university’s admission pathways.
In her presentation, Dr. Laila emphasized FPH UI’s commitment to producing graduates who are ready to contribute to the development of public health in Indonesia. She also shared insights into academic life at FPH UI, scholarship opportunities, and the career prospects for its graduates.
“At FPH UI, we not only educate students to become public health professionals but also nurture their character and social awareness, so they can become agents of change in their communities,” said Dr. Laila during her session.
The event also featured an interactive Q&A session, where the students enthusiastically asked questions about admission tracks, scholarships, and UI’s global rankings.
This visit is expected to inspire and motivate the students of SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Raman to pursue their higher education goals at top universities like Universitas Indonesia.
